Represented individual plaintiff in a breach of contract action against a sophisticated class action law firm based out of New York. The defendants filed an arbitration claim in New York pursuant to a provision in the contract. Wittenberg Law found that the defendants committed fraud in forming the arbitration agreement, and subsequently filed a complaint in federal court. The case resulted in a large settlement payment to the plaintiff.

Represented Registered Investment Adviser plaintiff in a breach of contract action against an international investment bank. The case arose from the investment bank’s failure to deliver a bond subsequent to the trader offering, negotiating and agreeing to trade the bond. The case was filed in FINRA and heard by a three-member panel. The Panel found in favor of plaintiff and awarded a substantial recovery.

Represented an elderly investor plaintiff who invested millions of dollars with a well-known wealth management firm. The case arose out of the defendants recommendations of unsuitable investments as well as products that generated huge commissions for the broker and his firm, but provided no additional benefit to the plaintiff. The case was filed in FINRA and asserts claims for breach of fiduciary duty, negligence, failure to supervise, elder financial abuse, and fraudulent concealment.

Represented a local technology company as plaintiff in lawsuit involving corporate governance issues and a shareholder dispute. The parties were fighting for control of the company. Using years of experience counseling corporate clients, Wittenberg Law was able to position his clients in a way that allowed them to achieve an excellent and expedient settlement that left them as owners of 100% of the company.

Represented an angel investor in connection with a potential investment into a start up company.
